Was a lovely day until we came to go back to the hotel at night me and my daughter age 14 which I put that on my booking 1 adult 1 child as when we checked in that afternoon ..but staff on the door at night time wouldn't let us yo our room..they said that on the booking there was only 1 person down on her sheet to say was staying in my room..I was very upset ..it was late we had been to see my other daughters dance show at her university..as she lives in Newcastle and we don't.. they kept saying only 1 person is down on the booking and looking at each other there was a man and a woman both not letting us get by...I had to show my booking info on my app amd still wasn't going to ..after about 10 mins finally let us go to the lift to our room..

I booked a king room and when we arrived we got an executive room which was lovely with huge kingsize bed, fridge stocked with bottled water, 2 cans diet Pepsi and 2 kit kat chocolate biscuits which were all replenished daily. I asked for Riverside View and that's exactly what we got looking out onto the millennium bridge lit up every night. Also received 4 vouchers for a free drink of my choice at the hotel bar and a voucher for 20% off all food and drinks too.Buffet breakfast was lovely every morning with the choice of a cooked breakfast also if you wanted it.Very clean and tidy hotel and reception smelt amazing everyday

Great hotel with a lovely view of the Tyne and right next to Millennium Bridge. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Lovely fresh bed linen, comfortable beds, and nice plump pillows. Breakfast was very good and we had dinner in the bar on the night we arrived. It was delicious (if not a little bit too expensive). Service is friendly. Car parking is a real bonus. We would definitely use this hotel again. It is a reasonable walk into the center of Newcastle (25 mins), but it's a nice walk.

Nikki

Our 2nd stay here. Excellent location for The Sage and only a 10 minute walk to the Newcastle Quayside and 25 mins to Greys Monument. We had a superior double with a fabulous river view. The rooms are spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities and bottled water. Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection of continental and full English options. Parking is limited, but if you get there early, you've more chance of a space. It's £8.50 for 24houra. .

Shirley

Very conveniently located. Comfortable. Friendly staff. The bedroom was a good size, the bathroom very small but adequate. The bed was comfortable and although the hotel was full it was quiet and peaceful and we had a good night's sleep. Would certainly stay there again.
